Among them, one FC100 was equipped with an innovative dual-tether cleaning system, achieving the first domestic real-scenario application of dual-tether façade cleaning for FC100.
This system enables up to 4 hours of continuous cleaning in a single operation, boosting operational efficiency from the conventional battery-swapping method of about 3,000 m² to an impressive 8,000 m². This breakthrough not only increases the performance of a single aircraft but also significantly enhances daily economic output.
Unlike traditional high-altitude cleaning—which heavily depends on pilot skills, has high labor intensity, and faces efficiency bottlenecks—the M400 deployed in this demonstration operated with advanced automation features. Through the ground-control interface, users can initiate automated flight and cleaning missions with a single command.
The ground station clearly displays real-time drone positions and task progress, greatly reducing operational difficulty and manpower requirements.
Compared to traditional “spider-men” or suspension-basket cleaning—known for low efficiency, high cost, and safety risks—Kitefly Tethered’s dual-tether cleaning solution provides continuous 24-hour operation via ground power supply.
